Apologies for the resubmission. Song credits will temporarily be added in the comments as the posts keeps getting filtered and I unfortunately do not know which name triggers it.🫣
**Update:** I have found the culprit!!! It is one of the Lyrics by names in „REDRED“.🕵️♂️

why does their album post keep getting removed? hopefully this one stays up long enough so we can talk about how amazing this ep is
I think their last EP had way higher highs (go and fashion) but this one may have more tracks I’d go back to even if I don’t like them *as much* as those two or they may not be as instantly catchy. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Redred really is a standout and I am happy that they had it as a pre-release. Acai is just sooo damn good. The producer went all put for that song. Close second fav in the album. TNT is an okay song, but I like redred better.
Also, I really love that you can hear that for cortis using autotune really is an artistic choice. They make such good use of it in the songs. Autotune never really bothered me, but with cortis songs it just adds sooo much depth which makes me love it even more. All of good luck to the boys.
Edit: Idk how this is getting downvoted. I said nothing negative bruh

The album is 10/10 I liked every song in it…my taste says Wassup, best work.

The lyrics of Blue Lips are honestly really nice, def my favourite track on the EP

REDRED was such a highlight and I wish they continued that electronic sound more in the other songs. I have to say, I didn’t realize YOUNGCREATORCREW was on this album so I saved that one immediately. It’s been stuck in my head for months.

My first time checking out a CORTIS project, and I liked it quite a bit. Production is great, and they seem to have a very distinct style; though I must say most of the songs here I’d definitely have to be in a certain mood to listen to with how chaotic they are.
– Loved the layered vocals in the back for TNT’s chorus, and REDRED’s chorus. I also like how weird „Wassup“ is structure-wise.
– I think it might be my SONY headphones but the deep synth bass in nearly every song started to feel a bit relentless for my ears >_<
– With that said, „Blue lips“ was a big stand-out for me though it felt like an outro. Definitely my favorite from the EP. So vibey, and I like that we can hear their vocal colors a bit better in this.
My biggest takeaway, however, is that someone from the group sounds so much like Machine Gun Kelly to me 😆 (*I don’t listen to his music, so my only reference being his Eminem diss track „Rap Devil“*). Particularly in the tracks „ACAI“ and „YOUNGCREATORCREW“. Threw me off so much lol.

As someone who grew up listening to rap since I was in like 6th grade genuinely cortis are the best hiphop inspired group out rn. Their music just sounds so genuine and fresh like you can tell a lot of love went into their songs and they look like they’re having so much fun performing and making these songs. The last time I listened to an EP where there was not a single miss like this was with NewJeans

I much prefer their first EP, but REDRED and Wassup are the two standouts here imo.
I was excited for Blue Lips bc I saw people comparing it to JoyRide, but I’m not a huge fan of the vocals on it. JoyRide remains that girl.

TNT, RedRed, and Wassup are my clear favorites. I just hope TNT doesn’t end up like What You Want, getting left behind by other fan favorites. From what I’ve seen, fans seem to like RedRed, YCC, or Acai. At the moment, I still prefer COTL as a full project over GreenGreen. GG feels a bit too locked into one vibe. I think it would’ve benefited from one less trap-heavy track and one more vocal-focused song like Joyride to balance it out.
That said, I do think this sound fits their age and current image really well. It works for now. But I’m curious how they’ll evolve in a couple of years. Supreme Boi tends to lean hip-hop, and I’m not sure how much he’s been involved in more pop-driven tracks before, so it’ll be interesting to see how that develops if/when Cortis moves toward a more pop sound.

I feel like this album is way less interesting than their first album was.
I went to listen to it all the through again to make sure I didn’t like it, and I accidentally let the album play 3 times because I forgot it was even on; that’s how little any of these songs have anything going on in them.
This is the 2nd Hybe album I’ve listened to in a week that just sounds more or less flat and uninteresting throughout most of the album, and I’m sure both albums will sell 80 million copies and do 3 trillion streams, but they’re not fun to listen to, and Hybe’s A&R need to do better.
