    1. Can call out the antisemitic cartoons of himself but not the antisemitism coming from his party

He’s a twat, but the cartoon is bad and shouldn’t have been printed

One or two Greens get booted for being antisemitic and the world loses it’s rag. It becomes apparently okay to chariacature Polanski as the happy merchant.

Farage, the actual one with scores of people giving examples of his actual antisemitic behaviour as well as his numerous nazi saluting, white supremacist, racist party members.. just get free pass after free pass on the regular.

This is the actual 2 tier bs in the media.

So he should. It wasn’t exactly subtle. He’s wrong on the police use of force issue, but that’s no excuse to wheel out the 1930s „hook nosed money lender“ art book.

It’s very telling that the press is fine with antisemitic caricaturing when it’s against a left-wing politician.

    6. It’s hardly antisemitic, it’s not inferring anything negative about his Jewishness… it’s a caricature of his features.

I figured it was worth comparing the cartoon to some depicting negative Jewish stereotypes from history. Of particular note is The Vampire and The Fat Banker

Here is a link to where I found the cartoons: https://antisemitism.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Antisemitic-imagery-May-2020.pdf

The resemblance is apparent… to me anyway. But, I don’t know if the cartoonist in question has a history of propagating such stereotypes. Maybe it was an accident. I’ve no idea.
