And so begins the traditional *Let’s all guess who it was* ritual.
I’m going for Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden.

Ah so they’ve already gone, should narrow it down. Incident was in 2014 and then they were given unfavourable shifts.

And as usual no names can ever be given so everyone just speculates about people they dislike

Imagine if you’re that woman. If you’re in that position. How does it feel to have that done to you and see him just get away with it.

Broken wrist is a GBH, he should have been arrested and likely would have received a prison sentence for this?

Oh look, another news report about the BBC being fucking vile. Must be a day of the week.

Undesirable shifts suggests a newsreader or similar (reporter), someone who can be moved around the schedule as part of a large department where flexibility is important.

I have heard Nagga is quite aggressive when she doesn’t get her way or is addressed incorrectly.
Scorce: my brother worked with her at the BBC

Notable figures who left the BBC around 2014 include Simon Mayo, who departed from Radio 2, and Vanessa Feltz, who also left the network. Other prominent names include Andrew Marr and Graham Norton, who made their exits during that period

Wait did this happen two separate times? Didn’t Kate Silverton’s wrist get broken in 2014 when Ben Brown bumped into her when one of the royal babies was being born? I can’t remember which kid, but it was 2014, and he’s left since and I feeeel like he might have gone to France? But that was super public and an accident. Just amazing if two female BBC presenters got broken wrists off male colleagues the same year by presenters who left later and moved to France…?

Literally no reason to include „female“ other than to karma farm through victimisation

At this point it would be safer just to put everyone in show biz in jail lol.

I hate when these type of stories come out and intentionally vague on who they are so they can drip feed it for extra engagement. Just result in a lot of false accusations being thrown about as people try to guess who they are.

*The Mail* allege several make-up artists reported the presenter for evidence of drug and alcohol use but, unusually, say they have chosen not to name the presenter
Which, to me, suggests the story is a better story for *The Mail* if the identity of the presenter is unknown. If it’s a weather man on BBC Cymru, it’s not headline news
*The Mail* and *The Mail’s* source describe the incident as being covered-up, hushed-up or swept under the carpet but don’t describe any action BBC execs took to back-up that allegation
Despite claiming to know the identity of the injured female, *The Mail* didn’t contact her for a quote
Neither *The Mail* nor their source claim the injured female made any sort of complaint over the incident. *The Mail* provides no background detail to the incident
If the pair were arguing or involved in a physical altercation, you would expect *The Mail* to report those details. Perhaps it reads as a better story without that sort of context
A violent assault against a colleague would be grounds for instant dismissal. If BBC execs wanted rid of the presenter, they wouldn’t need to hope shit shifts would make him resign
The motivations and actions *The Mail* attributes to BBC execs are contradictory. If they wanted rid of the guy, they would have used the incident to force his resignation
I call **shenanigans** on this reporting
