Quick reading on adrenal medulla article on Wikipedia showed that adrenal medulla secretes mainly adrenaline and noradreline, not enkhepalins. Enkephalins are endogenous opioid peptides, and they are produced in the central nervous system.
Adrenal medulla can secrete enkhepalins, but that is not the main “product” of the adrenal medulla.
Enkhepalins can produce euphoria, but it is mild as it is quickly broken down by the enzymes. It is less effective than other drugs as it cannot passes the blood-brain barrier effectively.
That would be a cool post if not for the horrendous AI-Slop.

Yeah, maybe. As the first slide says, conspiracy theorists ranting about adrenochrome got it completely wrong, as I’ve tried to tell many people on here. Buy some if you want to try it, it’s freely available from lab supply websites.

Ok but for short peptides like enkephalins, chemical synthesis is typically cheaper and faster than extracting from tissue. Also the purity is way higher when produced in a lab. I love a good conspiracy theory but from a medical pov, this is not it. You don’t have to believe me. You can also Google this.
