Farage is a foreign bought asset. He doesn’t work for you or Britain

  2. There is a massive security risk to his plain speaking man of the people image. Imagine if his public school stockbroker background were to be leaked? Think of the damage if his funding links were known publicly.

Not sure how many times this traitor has to be caught in the service of foreign interests before having to deal with *any* consequences. Probably gets away with it because he’s part of the right class.

Farage is a security risk anyway you look at it – the fact that he can be bribed shows his true colours.

So the “ordinary bloke” act comes with a £5m billionaire safety net now?

Call it security, call it whatever you like — but if you’re taking that kind of money, people are allowed to ask questions. Sunlight isn’t persecution. It’s the bare minimum.

Why do newspapers like using passive tense in their headlines?

“Starmer urged”, “question raised” and so on.

Why don’t they put the most important: who did what?

Right now, the headline feels like the newspaper tried to hide who asked the question.

Just to clear what happened if the Guardian caught wind of the £5 million „gift“ & went to Farage & Harborne for comment-

    [https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/apr/29/revealed-nigel-farage-was-given-undisclosed-5m-by-crypto-billionaire-in-2024](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/apr/29/revealed-nigel-farage-was-given-undisclosed-5m-by-crypto-billionaire-in-2024)

Farage then immediately rushed over to the Telegraph who were happy to head off the the Guardian story by breaking this first-

    [https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/29/nigel-farage-my-home-was-firebombed/](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04/29/nigel-farage-my-home-was-firebombed/)

In the Telegraph story the main focus is a previously unmentioned „firebombing“ that occured more than a year ago with the £5 million „gift“ mentioned in passing (the first time this information was released to the public).

It is quite possible this is when the story that the „gift“ was for security was concocted- do foreign-based billionaires often track down politicians years after they retired to give them cash for security?

Coincidentally Harborne just happens to be Reforms main donor who has given another £22 million, 62% of their declared donations.

It also clearly illustrates how intertwined elements of our media are with certain political parties.

The excuse given is that it was a personal payment made to cover personal security

Nigel is 62, the average UK make life expectancy is 79. £5m spread over 17 years is £300k per year

Show us personal expenditure of £300k for private security over the last year and we _might_ believe you

Was security concerned raised when he said his car was sabotaged in France as a MEP? before denying saying it after journalists looked into it.
