In all fairness, no one uses them.
Saw one once and it was so beaten down that I didn’t even feel secure to use it.
That was a very well written and balanced article. The bottom line is, and this is according to multiple investigations by attorneys general here in the US, roughly 90% of all the transactions at crypto ATMs is money victims are giving to scammers. Suggesting this is a viable option for the „unbanked “ is right up there with the favors payday lenders are doing.
Lotto tickets are a better investment, at least there’s a chance of getting a return on your investment.
Banning these will most likely help the overall reputation of crypto by reducing the amount of fraud associated with it.
Develop something that’s designed to allow fraud, and surprise! They regulate it due to fraud.
