      This was a great interview. Newsom has the policy and swagger to make a deep run for the presidency. I CHALLENGE his opponents to do more. Trump will be replaced, lets make it a race to the top.

      He sees how Trumps base eats it up. The memes, the nicknames, the insults. They love every bit of it, and Newsome wants the same adoration from the left.

      As much as I can’t stand Bill Mahr’s smarmy ass, I agree with him on this one.

      Bill Maher is a turd that’s been floating at the top of the toilet bowl since the 90s and for some reason no matter how hard you try you can’t get it to go down with the flush.

      Maher is an idiot but Newsom is a used car salesman who can’t even take care of his own state. I really hope his presidential aspirations don’t get far.

      I hate Bill Maher and I hate fox news, and If Newsom is the democratic nominee in 2028, I will vote for him. But Maher has a point in this one respect: the defamation lawsuits against the media are illiberal assaults on the first amendment, and it is a tactic perfected by Trump to chill free speech. Maher is correct to question why Newsom is suing fox news for such an exorbitant amount of money over coverage he didn’t like.

      I’ve seen some clips of Maher interviewing Billy Joel and it was basically just Maher talking about himself most of the time.

      So, yeah. Figures. Maher is a dumbass.

      If Newsom is  the presidential candidate then Democratic Party should close down the shop and let GOP win.

      The guy ran California into the ground because his dumb policies.

      Yeah, I don’t think Maher was exactly shut down in any way shape or form. Newsom’s twitter team is pretty funny. Copying Trump, but funny.

      IMO, Gavin Newsom is going to be the „break glass in case of emergency“ option among possible 2028 democratic primary contenders for president. He’ll get my vote only in the general election.
