Good. Let this strengthen Armenia-EU ties. If the EU really wants to stick it to the Azeris they can send advanced weaponry and a large pallet of cash 😉

why though? I would not call Aliyev a stupid man. He’s terrible but definitely not stupid.
So, I wonder what’s the reason they did so.

Not an expert in the EU political structures, but somewhat informed about them. The Parliament is often a venting mechanism, and neither the EU Commission nor the Council have to respond to non-binding resolutions like the one passed re Armenia and Armenians. All the more surprising why Azerbaijan is overreacting like this.
I suspect the US House of Representatives next Congress will pass similar resolutions (assuming Armenia/Nikol don’t lobby against it), I’m curious to see how Azerbaijan will respond—doubt it’ll be the same way as they are treating the Europeans.

But not gas?
Anyway, knowing Europe, they’ll probably award them for doing that. Probably give something in return and get back to normalization, like they do with Turkey.
