      We’re so back. Been craving another GG survival show for ages. Just as long as they PLEASE do not make it exclusive to their dumb Plus Chat app. Can we just watch it on YouTube!

      Also interesting that they’re permitting they/them.

      They should have limit it to Korean and SEA members. Make it a 12 member group, 6 Koreans and 6 SEA girls. One each from the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. It’s like printing money.

      As a MNET Survival show enjoyer, they often announce this early January every year but this year was kinda late.

      Out of curiosity I checked and they have a minimum age (born before 2013) but no maximum listed age.
      Like of course I’m sure they’re going to be selective in auditions but imagine having a girls planet contestant in like their 50s. She would get my vote.

      I don’t think I’m prepared for the heartbreak of another survival show already. So many kids desperate to debut and having their hopes dashed on camera makes me so sad.

      The way I have so little optimism the way they treat KEP1ER and IZNA and the mismanagement of ALD1 (and to an extent fumbling ZB1 early on though they were by and large the most successful in spite of WakeOne)… unfortunately M-NET is really good at making engaging and entertaining survival shows…

      Hopefully it’s not too rigged like past shows have been (Idol School, Finding Momoland)

      I’m really curious to see what the format will look like this time, probably closer to the last two seasons given the kinks they needed to iron out from GP’s format, but it could also be another mix-up. I’m expecting some kind of „gimmick“ involved but I’m not sure what just from this audition (other than that the non-Korean languages highlighted being English and Japanese is probably a hint, BIIP focused on „Greater China“, so it’s a safe guess this season will primarily focus elsewhere).

      I really hope this season is different and more interesting because (imo) the recent boys planet season was just not as good as the previous. It would be so interesting if they had more global and unique participants like imagine if some of the Dream Academy girls would have been in an Mnet show.

      Once again holding my breath for Sakura Kitazume from pdjp101 Japan. She was in the prelude tryouts but dropped out early and she’s very nearly aged out of everything else 😭
