    1. What an absolute legend. Who else but Zack could see a violent, murderous terrorist attack Jews and decide ‚we need to have a conversation about the police being too rough with that psycho.‘

    2. Jaded_Strain_3753 on

This is like a parody of how a leftist leader would react to this situation

    3. Can the Greens go back to just green policies again? And getting rid of the anti-semites?

They absolutely suck at everything else.

    4. The attacker was using lethal force, the police could legitimately have killed him. If anything they showed restraint.

    5. And this is why voting the greens in would be fucking terrible for the country lmao.

    6. ReligiousGhoul on

The same people telling you it’s a moral imperative to punch Nazi’s are telling you kicking a mass stabbing anti-semitic terrorist is too much force.

    7. Dedsnotdead on

Stab two people, refuse to show your hands.

Clearly this is a classic case where a dance off should have been triggered by the Police and winner takes all.

“Somali-born British national with a “history of serious violence and mental health issues”.” wins, he walks free, Dude has great rhythm.

The attending Officers win, he submits to arrest non-violently.

      Ridiculous right?

No more ridiculous than claiming you can hypnotise someone to grow their breasts though is it Zack?

    8. JensonInterceptor on

Get Zack on the scene he can hypnotise the attacker in to submission.

Like when they helicoptered Gazza in to stop Raul Moat

    9. You take down and neutralise the threat as quickly as possible. I see nothing wrong with how the police treated the guy. Polanski is a fool looking for exposure. What would he have preferred? Some light tickling with a please and thank you..

    10. thecheeseboiger on

Well, you see, that poor man was only acting out only because of [insert random bollocks after consulting Greens party buzzword bingo] and really the police officers should have made him a warm cup of cocoa, covered him in a blanket, and allowed him to go about his day stabbing people.

It takes a very special moron to make literally any other political leader look ’normal‘ but fuck me, Polanski is just that special.

    11. James May summed it up well.

„We can all play a part in putting an end to this sort of police brutality. Mainly by not going around stabbing people.“

    12. GhostRiders on

Lol.. I said it a few months back when people were proclaiming that the Green Party were a serious threat to Labour, I said it again a day or two ago and here we are today..

Left Wing Parties will always find a way to self destruct and make themselves unelectable.

Just imagine thinking coming out and criticising the Police for the way they apprehended a man who had just attempted to murder 2 people with a knife, had been Tazered and was still clutching the weapon he had just used would be a good idea..

Left Wing Parties just can’t help themselves, they always fall back to student level politics and self destruct.

    13. The Greens seem to have become contrarians thinking this would make them popular in contrast to other parties, when really it’s no better than spouting populist nonsense like another party they’re up against.

What happened in Golders Green was abhorrent, regardless of religion or belief, and the attacker deserves little sympathy. You do not attack people, certainly not to prove a point in broad daylight, in front of onlookers who will also suffer from the experience.

    14. LargeLetter1 on

Of course the correct way for unarmed police who deal with someone who just stabbed two people and won’t release the knife after being tazered is to hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

    15. Competitive_Pen7192 on

This is the only country where people clearly intent on harm and can’t be talked down get cuddles from interest groups.

I was unfortunate enough to see pictures of the US Boston Bomber who resisted arrest. Let’s just say there wasn’t proportional force. And eye witness accounts of the Tunisian terror attack said the attacker got wounded by the authorities and got to knees to pray, the first officer strode up to him with a pistol and you can fill in the rest.

I’m not saying we should be doing that but atleast give our Police a break. Polanski isn’t coming across very well here, like the stereotypical liberal finger pointer that many, many assume he is.

    16. LostInTheVoid_ on

So we’ve got a green party full of flat out racists spouting Nazi talking points and conspiracies specifically about Jews. Who think defense isn’t important and Ukraine can be sorted by just talking to Putin.

Then we’ve got the likes of Reform, using language not dissimilar from Nazi’s to talk about anyone they don’t deem British enough and possibly have some closer connections than one would like to Russian Oligarchs, dark money and Trumps Admin….

And these are the two parties that get the lionshare of the media and seem to escape large scale criticism for all of the above.

      Fucking grim.

    17. It’s painfully obvious that the people who think the treatment on the man, who was referred to the counter terrorism police attempting a knife rampage, was “too rough” – think that way because they quietly agree with his hated of Jews.

    18. This is a bad look. I don’t give a fuck how crazy a guy is. If he’s randomly stabbing people on the street folks should be entitled to jump on his head like Super Mario.

Even if a guy is mad as a box of frogs he might still need the shit kicking out of him if he starts attacking other people.

The thing as well is saying this kind of daft shit isn’t leadership. You can’t lead by contrarianism.

    19. I see Zack’s downfall has started already – literally unelectable and shit like this proves it

    20. “If a terrorist won’t drop the knife used to stab two Jews, then any sensible person would expect the police to use force. It’s shocking Zack Polanski and his ‘comrades’ are soft on terrorists.”

      Awesome response

    21. YouHaveAWomansMouth on

      As a left leaning voter…

What fucking Elder God do I have to appease to get a left-wing party and leader who are serious about tackling rampant wealth inequality, the insane cost of living and accommodation, the environmental collapse the ultra wealthy and their paid-for politicians and press are gleefully pushing us towards, and the private interest driven degradation of vital infrastructure and services which by rights should belong to us and not the growth-obsessed parasites the government keeps handing them to… without absolutely sabotaging themselves by fighting every damn underdog cause they can find even in the face of no merit or benefit to doing it?

Just meet the fucking moment and read the fucking room.

Where I live there was a stabbing in Sainsbury’s. 5 mins later armed police had him restrained on a nearby street. It was a busy day with lots of people around. This was all caught on video and you hear a bunch of people shouting „shoot him“ in unison over and over.

The public don’t care when murderous violent dickheads get hurt and why should we. Zack is so naive and I don’t think he has ever been in a threatening situation in his life. He comes across as incredibly sheltered to the horrors of the world and what evil acts people are capable of. Honestly the attacker is lucky he was confronted by non armed officers. He would have absolutely been shot there and then and it would be 100% justified.

    23. It’s funny, now the greens are getting more media attention, that people insisted was only fair to counter Reform being plastered all over the news, its just shown them up for what they really are. The current strategy for green supporters seems to be deny, say it was taken out context or that the mainstream is ‚rattled‘ by the rise of the greens and are running hit peices
