People are kidding themselves if they think the US was ever innocent. Or they are looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses.
I don’t think America ever had innocence. Maybe naivete and gullibility…but not innocence.

„Innocence“… what a joke. Nothing’s ever been innocent about the US, right from its inception. Keep blaming everything on Trump even though he’s the result not the reason.
