This actually doesn’t take a Nobel laureate to understand: now that we’re in a situation where Iran is blockading the straight unless they get paid, our only choice to defang that action is to blockade any ships *they* let through.
It’s a shit sandwich and we didnt need to be here but the logic is sound.
I believe he’s completely right about this one. Iran is gonna jerk Trump around because of what he’s done. They signed a nuclear agreement with Obama. There’s zero incentive for them to sign a bad deal now and they’re prepared to take the pain. We can’t take the pain and they know it.
Russia is benefiting so much from this situation.
The little fake king has power over a stream of water he can control. Sad.
