      I still don’t understand why Americans haven’t risen up against this traitorous administration. A literal Manchurian candidate and the best Americans can do is a few weekend protests that accomplish nothing.

      Better hope the midterms aren’t rigged, because it’s clear this is the only mechanism that might result in change.

      Always amazes me how Americans came from being paranoid about their own family or neighbors potentially being what they considered the spawn of satan (Russian communist spy) to seeing their whole administration being Russian assets and be ok with it

      The „helping Russians“ in this case being just simply not wanting to fund the Ukraine war. In this regard I can at least praise him on being consistent about wanting to stick to an agenda since he also was against all other US war expenditures overseas.

      That being said, this is a matter of morals, not dollars. The Ukraine war is a one sided invasion by a dictatorship after a failed internal take over of the smaller country’s democracy. The previous generations of leaders, the ones from the „good ol‘ days“ as the conservatives call it, would’ve never allowed such a thing to happen. Especially not with their long standing disdain of the soviets.

      Could’ve easily ended this war under the Biden admin with minimal US lives on the line via the same kind of bombing and missile campaigns we’re using in Iran to avoid having to put boots on the ground. Trump could’ve done the same but also chose not to, so there’s no Left VS Right here.
