Israel’s Grain Importers Association said Thursday that a Russian vessel carrying wheat suspected of originating from occupied Ukrainian territories would not be allowed to unload in Israel, with Israeli wheat importer Zenziper forced to turn the ship away amid growing pressure from Kyiv.

Will Europeans join Israelis who they threaten so easily? Or would they continue to fund Putin while claiming to want to help Ukraine and support it?

It’s rather ironic of Israel to offer advice concerning the conduct of diplomacy. Maybe Ukraine would be less critical of Israel if they weren’t so intimately connected to the US.

If that specific grain shipment can be directly tied to Luhansk or Donetsk Oblast’, their objection is legitimate. A more interesting question is the grain imported by Spain, Italy, and France connected to those two regions? Or do they come from another grain producing oblast’?
