Well Mr. Bacon, does it occur to you that it’s because Trump wants to turn us into those kind of countries

  2. NoReserve7293 on

I’d laugh but somehow I just feel like crying for the country we’ve lost. Where dignity, honesty and integrity meant something on both sides of the aisle.

  3. At least Mao Zedong looks…hopeful? Trump just looks like he’s shitting his pants.

  4. the funny thing with Trump is how his fans are always forced to find an argument for and against, cause its usually bad on monday and „the most amazing, probably the amazinest thing 👌 they’ve ever heard of, on tuesday“

  5. Its_Don_Quixote on

Great, I’ve always wanted a picture of a pedophile traitor on my US passport.

  6. StrigiStockBacking on

    Insert Pam Beasley meme:

„Corporate wants you to find the difference between these pictures.“

    „They’re the same picture.“

  7. otherwisepandemonium on

I imagine the only type of president who wants to do this is the type who will not leave office when their term is up.

  8. When do these start getting issued? I need a new passport but I don’t want this.

  9. Using America’s 250th as an excuse to “Trumpify” everything to stroke his fragile ego and waste taxpayer money is so disgraceful.

Of course, who knows who’s receiving kickbacks on the backend.

The article is completely missing the point.

Most countries have pictures of famous people on their money. The US has not been any different with Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin etc. But they are all historical figures (ie dead)

Even in China and Russia their leaders are not vain and narcissistic enough to put their own faces or other living leaders onto passports and money. That only happens for living kings and queens like in the UK.

We literally spent half a century laughing at the USSR for this exact shit and now it’s “just common sense.”

  12. FoxyInTheSnow on

Oh, don’t worry. Everyone is laughing at your stupefyingly dumb and dangerous country.

  13. NK doesn’t do for living leaders. I’m so tired of this man. -US 250TH Anniversary Trump coin
    – Signature on the $1 bill
    – Trump Kennedy Center
    – Trump institute of Peace
    – Trump Battleships
    – National Park Trump Pass
    – Trump Prescription RX
    – Trump Accounts
    – Trump Gold Card
    – Trump ballroom
    – Trump signature on all currency
    – Trump Arch and more…
Yet the working class voters actually thought he was going to work for them. Talk about being gullible, sheesh. 🙄

  14. Not long ago he was literally moaning that he wanted American soldiers to be showing the same kind of reverence and instant response to their leader’s every command as he saw in North Korea.
He is at his core a dictator, he truly believes everyone else is beneath him.
And he most likely saw NK passports there too so insisted on the the same for the US.

Guy’s acting like we didn’t just spend four years watching the GOP turn flag pins and loyalty pledges into a personality test.

  16. ZzZzZzZzZzZero on

Its the exact same thing, printing living leaders on state documents is dictator shit full stop

  17. Top_Assist7585 on

lmao remember when conservatives lost their minds over Obama’s birth certificate? now they’re literally fine with government-issued ideological loyalty documents.

  18. MissMamaMam on

My mom today asked “how is he able to do all of this, why isn’t anybody stopping him??”

My family used to get annoyed at my warnings about Trump, I now understand that they had too much faith in the system

  19. I get why he wants to do it. I don’t get why he wants it to be his mugshot photo.

  20. Communism has nothing to do with this, ya clown. Authoritarian dictatorships, sure.

  21. boofaceleemz on

Really, I thought we passed this threshold when it became the official position of the US government that Trump was 6 foot 3, the healthiest president of all time, with great genes, and could live to be 200 years old.

His picture on a government document is small fries next to the public claim that he’s apparently The Highlander and The Rock rolled into one hypermasculine person. Even Kim Jong-Il never claimed to be a vampire.

  22. Ven-Dreadnought on

We’re finally over the hump. The lights have been turned on at the party and the GOP are now being forced to take the lampshade off their head and introspect for even half a second

  23. Nomadic_Reseacher on

Is there a staff or whole committee in charge of identifying and implementing opportunities to put his name on things?

  24. Thats literally what this is about. Trump is an admirer of Kim Jong Un. His methods aren’t much different as a result of it.

  25. That isn’t a trait of „communism“ it’s a trait of „totalitarism“ or a „dictorship.“ Focus on a single powerful figure isn’t part of the definition of communism.

  26. TheTerribleInvestor on

With where China is now its somewhat justified to having Mao in a passport, it wouldn’t be too different if it were George Washington.

  27. Creepy_Trouble_5980 on

There is absolutely no justification for any president or Cabinet member to have their face on an American Passport.

  28. The *caricature* of Communist States that we made up to demonize Communism in favor of ~~Fascism~~ Capitalism.

  29. Proud_Growth_8818 on

They aren’t ’not far from what we laughed at‘. They are exactly what we laughed at.

Next thing you know, Loser is going to start wearing a military uniform. Not an Army uniform, some white and gold thing he designed himself, just for him.

  30. babybirdingURgrandma on

I think *most* Gop congresspeople know Trump’s humiliation run was orchestrated by Putin, they just have no idea how to confront him but still keep their seats. But they know he’s a foreign agent, a foreign cancer, a guy that has never understood subtlety, a guy who’s a terrible businessman, a sexual assault artist. They know, they know

  31. Wild_Read9062 on

I’m over how stupid this is and moved onto the picture.

Here’s my issue. Why does this fat, cheeseburger eating, senile old golfer think anyone… ANYONE would ever think he’s ‘tough’? This guy would roll over and play dead to a meter maid, and we all know it.

Like, who seriously believes this guy with the fucking candles and blood clot hand could take on anyone?

I know the guy’s narcissistic and delusional, but damn- to be that far removed from any kind of reality is worthy of some kind of medal.

  32. RumRunnersHideaway on

He can’t have a real legacy so he’s forcing himself on everyone. He’s got a long history of forcing himself on people.

  33. What do you mean „aren’t far from“? They’re EXACTLY what we laughed at.

  34. I cannot understand how a person can be so in love with his name or image.

  35. NinjaWrapper on

Curious, when the bills come out with his signature, how does one order a custom stamp? And will I get in trouble for ordering a stamp that says „is a pedophile“?

I am definitely not planning on defacing currency…it’s just that the idea of his name on our currency makes me curious about random things that are not at all connected.

  36. skelet0nsteve on

I’ll be damned if I ever sport a passport with a fuckin‘ felons mugshot on it. What in the actual fuck is wrong with that orange pedophile? Other than the obvious

  37. PositionNaive4572 on

Every cabinet meeting in this administration sounds like something we all used to laugh at North Korea for doing 15 years ago
