As with all things with the Carney government, I’ll believe it when I see it. The only thing, so far, that the Carney government makes is announcements.

We had better start the manufacturing of the components required. SS tubing, special water pumps, etc. if the US gets a hold of canada building nukes, they will block all components that we need to buy from them.
Great – but we also need to make sure we are using Canadian nuclear technology and locally processed uranium to maintain a level of industrial and scientific independence.

You can dislike Carneys beliefs but you got to respect his ability to wrap ecconomic benifets together in multiple purposed approaches.
