Indonesien über Europa

I was doing the exact same some days ago. It is incredible how huge Borneo, Sulawesi, Sumatra and Java are compared to most of the European countries.

Yet Java is fairly small for having so many peoole. Its smaller than England.

Isto está um pouco exagerado, não? O Brasil tem o tamanho de toda a Europa acredito eu, a Indonésia tem um tamanho considerável quando comparado ao Brasil?

Europe is 5 times bigger than Indonesia

Relative populations: EU about 450m, Indonesia about 290m. Of those in Indonesia, aalmost 160m live on just Java, which is mazing (and explains why the Indonesians are trying to relocate people off the island by doing thing likke building a new capital city on Borno)

It’s quite uncanny just seeing Kalimantan without the whole of Borneo, looking like a beast with their head decapitated.

How did this happen?

Remind me of a meme where european complain to american, how 6 hours drive is something normal to american, while for many european they could cross couple countries.

6 hours drive, i still not leave my province.
Not cause its as huge as USA, but more because majority of our road are potholes.
