Corporations are the new government because they’re the new nations
Who has more influence on the world? Amazon or Barbados? Walmart or Iceland? Fuck your UN seat. Whose flag does the world recognize? Albania’s or Coca Cola’s?
I’m pretty sure the corporations not only have more influence but they have more “citizens”. Those citizens (their employees) have a higher average income and fantastic job security too.
They also live around the world. Not a stationary nation but a diaspora. This has its advantages.
The biggest advantage though is that the corporation can do things that nations can’t do anymore. They can banish people. You’re not pulling your weight? You’re fired. Bye bye. You don’t exist anymore.
And they can do something which nations have never been able to do. They can run a fully comprehensive eugenics program that only admits new citizens that meet their preferred standards. Imagine saying that no child may be born that doesn’t have a minimum of a 120 IQ. A nation can’t do that. A corporation can though.
And to a nation a baby takes about 20 years to be of any use to anyone. To a corporation it’s about two weeks or they wouldn’t have birthed you in the first place
A corporation is basically a neo-monarchy. The CEO is a dictator. He can make new laws with his voice alone. With the stroke of a pen the entire nation changed policy according to his whim. Anyone who didn’t get on board is banished.
There’s something to learn from this about the power of monarchy and eugenics. Corporations have been clobbering nations for a century now. They’re basically undefeated. Nations are like the minor league sports teams that only exist as a proving ground for the big leagues to recruit from

you’ve got it backwards, governments ARE corporations. Theyre all just different groups of people at different scales.

I just looked it up and as far as restaurants go, 70% of restaurants are independent single-unit operations.
We should all be supporting those local restaurants and stores that aren’t funneling money to an absent owner/shareholder. It gets more difficult in other industries like electronics but even then you have choices to support smaller companies. I recently bought a framework laptop computer which im loving so far.
Doesn’t negate your point but at least theres alternatives to giving corporations our money.

we really should have paid more attention in history class…mussolini spelled it out…fascism is properly defined as corporations taking over government and dictating their ‚policies’…basically a government run by people either at the head of power corporations or very connected to people at the head of powerful corporations, multi-nationals, monopolies, etc. When this happens, we, ‚the people‘, are cooked.

That only happens because of governments favoring them. Corrupt governments in other words is the true reason.

Save your breath, everyone on this sub will say we need to just give them more tax breaks and subsidies to keep them happy.
