      Because Trump and the administration are a bunch of criminals grifters who will do whatever they think will benefit themselves personally not work to aide someone like Ukraine. I applaud the ambassador for stepping down.

      I really wish that people in the administration who disagree with Trump would just keep doing their job the way it should be done, in defiance to Trump, until they get fired, instead of just resigning. Not realistic, maybe, but it’s what I’d like to see.

      Resigning under these circumstances isn’t a power move it’s a coward move. Trump’s not going to bothered one iota by resignations he’s just going to call you an idiot, say he barely knew you anyway, and replace you with a tiktoker or something even more stupid.

      Stay in place, do your job to the best of your ability, make him fire you. Make it harder for him, not easier.

      Yeesh, I don’t envy that position. If you resign, people accuse you of abandoning them. If you stay and follow the orders of a madman, people tell you „just following orders“ isn’t an excuse.
