      Julie Davis, who has served as temporary chargé d’affaires at the US embassy in Kyiv since May last year, has grown frustrated with her role amid differences with President Donald Trump over his dwindling support for Ukraine.

      Her looming departure will follow that of her predecessor Bridget Brink, who resigned for similar reasons in April last year.

      It’s just as well. The regime is more committed to helping Russia than Ukraine in any case. Ukraine should concentrate on lobbying American arms manufacturers and let them pressure the regime.

      They’ll replace her with someone who is pro Trump and hence pro Putin, so it’ll probably get worse

      Trump wants to create pro-Russian factions amidst knowing Russia’s ongoing failures in Ukraine. Trump is terrified of Russia’s defeat.

Diplomats are expected to represent their country’s legitimate government, its position and politics no matter whom is in control of the government and no matter what that position is. If she find herself unable to perform her duties, she is doing the right thing in resigning.

    8. Good for her. The republican hypocrites clapped when The King said we should be on Ukraines side. Yeah right!
      The only side they are on is their pocketbook.
