Hopefully this one actually flies. Everyone made fun of SLS, but it went around the moon, and these are still exploding.
Watched it and loved it, more please
Preparation for the upcoming IPO I see.
Given how many Starships they’ve blown up in testing, I don’t know that „test how you fly“ was the slogan to go with here, guys
Test like you fly? Wish they considered that for the HLS. As it is, they aren’t testing it at all, and are so far behind that even the tests planned for a couple years out are scheduled to be done with half finished shells.
Does this sub even like space anymore? If Starship is successful it’s going to completely change the way we think about everything related to space.
Space stations and telescopes we could never imagine building before, the ability to service satellites or bring old decommissioned satellites back to earth. Regular trips and bases on the moon, potentially going to Mars. Every true space fan’s dream.
Yeah Elon is a total D-bag but just because he’s involved doesn’t mean we can’t be excited for a revolution in space travel and be rooting for the success of the SpaceX team.
did they build a proper launchpad yet out there? or still cost-cutting?
Saw it, did they really made a cool video presenting as a working solution to go to mars and moon, yet they barely flew empty to space?
> test like you fly
So they’re planning to crash? Starship is still years away from any commercial application. You’re not gonna have companies and astronauts jumping at the opportunity to fly on something with this abysmal of a safety record. Idk when this snuck in, but a test schedule where this many basic things go wrong is not normal.
Also, y’know, the guy owning the company and putting his face on everything is a Nazi. Does taint the whole thing.

Wow that was a very cool video. Hyped for the future of starship, this will take space to another level.
Why is this sub so hateful? Of course the Starship program is late and of course mistakes were made, but we don’t have to act like Starship will forever be exploding because that’s obviously not going to be the case.
I wonder if they will actually be able to use it on the moon with the Artemis project 🤔
Time flies really fast huh, 3 years already. Seems like Yesterday that Starship first flew.
I jut wanna say, fuck these billionaires like Musk and Bezos for completely destroying all of my childhood interest in space travel.
Whatever the future will bring, it’s very obvious that it will be less Star Trek and more Weyland-Yutani.
How did they get Lt. Cmdr. Data to interview in the booster segment at 8:15?
So massive explosions and failure?
Cowabunga it is I guess 😛
You really have to appreciate what spaceX and the environment that the united states has created for these companies.
>Starship – Test Like You Fly
No, let’s keep those explosions away from population centers.
Man these people have the coolest workday! Imagine waking up like „get up, go build that rocket“! While im stuck here explaining my dumbass co-workers not to create a ticket before at least one reboot…
