Was denkst du darüber? Man neigt dazu, ihr gegenüber kritischer zu sein, weil sie aus Zug kommt?

I don’t think this a case of Zuger discrimination.

When she entered office, I wondered if she understood the difference in political culture between Zug and Vaud. But what is mentioned in the report is something else: she has troubles to get that rules apply to her too. That’s a problem for anyone but it’s especially an issue if you have some form of power.

I know Valérie Dittli, personally. She’s a friend.

I have no idea if she did do something untowards, or unethical, in concluding her secret agreement with Mathey.

What I *do* know is that Mathey is also a sketchy fuck, linked to various scandals. Pretty sure he was the one who „just happened“ to purchase land near Vevey „just before“ it came on the market. And the seller had ties to funds linked to Mathey.

I just want them to investigate, and if she did something unethical, kick her out. Simple as. Corruption or abuse of power is corruption or abuse of power. And the fact that Mathey was still there in 2024 was also corruption or abuse of power.

But no, it’s not because she’s from Zug. That *was* an issue. I don’t think it is any more, though.

On a more general note, you’d be so sad if you heard about the winner workings of government at this level. The PLR, PS, UDC, all intent on just doing little side quests and jobs to benefit their friends and themselves.

We need to tighten up the rules and oversight over public finances.
