      Marriage is only possible between man and a woman by the definition of the word marriage. Same-sex marriage sounds like oxymoron.

      Anyway, if LGBT wants the same rights as people in marriage have, why not create legal entities to reflect that? For example, I don’t know, partnership?

      Unless LGBT wants to destroy another definition and another standard of the majority?

      Then- go yell on shops who sells not white **Biel**izna, and keep telling them that they cant call what they sell bielizna if is not white.

      Jachts started as type of specific PIRATE ship- go to tell jachts owners they must be pirates to have jachts.

      Words meaning change and expand. **Even PWN tell you that marriage between same-sex couple is posibble.**

      Well they are absolutely right, however title is unfortunate. EU institutions urges Poland to recognize same-sex marriages.

      I find it ridiculous that EU recognized marriages are not valid by Polish law. We ARE the EU.

      Not to mention that objections against homosexual couples are ridiculous. It is solely business of the couple that does not affect anyone else.

      W tym wszystkim chodzi bardziej o postawienie na swoim i przesuwanie granic, niż o colkolwiek innego. Gdyby ileś lat temu było to zalegalizowane, to dzisiaj protestowaliby o coś nowego. Małżeństwo jest przereklamowane, a małżeństwa lesbijek zdecydowanie częściej kończą się rozwodem niż związki hetero. Takie są statystyki. Idźcie i żyjcie sobie razem, ja nie mam z tym problemu. Każdy trzeźwo myślący człowiek zdaje sobie sprawę z tego, że ten problem obecnie jest gdzieś na dnie listy spraw do załatwienia. Są ważniejsze rzeczy.

      The only thig I find strange is that there are no civil partnerships in Poland for gays. We have had it in Hungary since 2009 and even Orbán didnt do anything against it

      Hopefully, they do it. “Marriage” is between a man and a woman in the Catholic Church for the purposes of having children. As a result, they get tax and other civil benefits. “Same sex marriage”, technically a “Civil Union” does not need to be in the Church (or for kids), but they should have the same rights as officially married couples.

      In any case, if Poland passes it, fewer Conservative Americans would likely move there.

      marriage is not a „moral“ category – it’s a partnership to mutually deal with property, finances, rising children, making medical decisions and so on.

      religious marriage has nothing to do with it.

      I really doubt anything will come from this,but I surely hope. The country is still pretty much divided when it comes to the LGBT tolerance

      BTW trochę smaczków dla was od kogoś kto był tam jako pierwszy zanim się zaczeło (tak miałem pociągi ze moglem albo sie spóżnić albo o 11 być w wawie):

      -Kontrmanifestacja była niedaleko, ale gościa słuchała garstka osób (wiem bo poszedłem go wybuczeć zanim my zaczeliśmy)

      -około 13- tej zaroiło się tam od policji i odcieto chodnik prowadzący do KPRM, Naliczyłem z 26 policjantów tylko po tej głównej stronie, pewnie cały budynek miał ich więcej.

      -Homokomando jak się tylko pojawiło to zostało spisane

      -Finalnie o 14 zaczeliśmy, moze nieco póżniej było faktyczne wyjście na scenę przez organizatora.

      -Nawet sporo mediów, zaś z polityków- nikt do nas nie wyszedł. Jużefaciuk co prawda na chwilę się pojawił ale było to jeszcze gdy ludzie się zbierali i sama akcja nie wystartowała.

      Protests rarely work.

      I don’t think there’s popular support for it, and I hope nothing will happen and they’ll stay unrecognized.

      Same-sex marriage should be legal only once same-sex couples will be able to produce a biological offspring. Come up with a way to do that and I’ll support same-sex marriage. Maybe we’ll also outlaw marrying an uncle/aunt while at it.
