what courses would you like to take at INU? any programs that would attract people from the rest of Canada? the idea of going to the arctic is exciting, so maybe programs like Inuit culture and arctic ecosystems?

I wonder what courses they are going to teach ? I hope they will train nurses, physiotherapists or any other in demand courses that will be very helpful for the arctic community.

Holy hell the rampant racism in here is off the charts.

Edit: turbo racist comments were deleted.

It would be really cool if the railway could extend from Churchill to Arviat. Uni students and trains are besties, and getting the first rail link to Inuit Nunangat would be a big deal

I’m honestly a bit surprised they didn’t go with Iqaluit, but it is good to start building up more centres for the future development of the region.

Train link to Churchill would be another big add to get more in and out.

But the limit is going to be population. Not sure how many degrees will be possible to offer when the entire territory’s population is about the same as some large universities student bodies.

I do hope this becomes a functional addition to the territory for the population, not merely performative.
