      Two studies conducted in Canada found that subliminally priming memories of a frustrated need for autonomy increases the likelihood that people will endorse a bogus conspiracy theory, be angered by it, and express willingness to disseminate it. The research was published in the Journal of Personality.

      I have noticed both sides are more open to the idea of conspiracy or psyops these last few years. I wonder if there’s a universal feeling of loss we all collectively share. For me it’s the loss of privacy but I assumed this was pretty niche. I still know plenty of people who feel if you have nothing to hide then it’s not a problem.
