Voting-rights groups sued Alaska officials over their decision to turn voter rolls over to the Justice Department.
The lawsuit is the latest in a spate of them against and by the Trump administration over its quest for voter roll access following the president’s and his allies’ baseless voter fraud claims. Advocates fear the administration’s actions could mean that eligible voters can’t cast their ballots in the 2026 midterm elections and beyond.
The actions of Alaska, which is one of several Republican-led states to hand over voter registration information to the Trump administration following requests made last year, violated residents’ constitutional privacy and voting rights, according to the suit.
It’s interesting to know that they think any red state can turn blue now after all the damage they’ve caused every state so far in less than 2 years. Otherwise, why bother any red state if you know they will always give you what you want?

People should also realize that deep-red Alaska has one of the most popular socialist policies in the nation – the people there own the states oil rights and get a paycheck every year from oil revenues. It doesn’t get any more socialist than that, and republicans love it.

Laugh in the face of anyone who tells you the GOP is the party of states rights and limits on federal power.
They’re the party of thinking what a pedophile with dementia tells you to think. There are no principles, just obedience to party with religious fervour.
