      What’s far more serious is this week’s revelation that the SPLC has been *funding* the extremism it claimed to be fighting.

      I have discovered that this sub won’t let users reference a certain show that satirized a minority individual that joined this well known white supremacy organization. Which seems an odd rule given the context of this post.

      A much bigger and more consequential scandal should be that he has claimed to be „100% disabled“ due to combat duty, but has no Purple Heart in his service record, or anything indicating serious injury during combat duty.

      And more than this stupid joke I care that his family was supported by his father’s employment with USAID and this guy has bootlicked his way up the administration that has dismantled USAID.

      Hung Cao lied about his injuries. The Montana Senator that sadly beat Tester lied about his service too.

      Stolen Valor used to be a serious thing but who knows anymore since we made a Vietnam draft dodger president twice.

      Sounds like this guy makes a lot of jokes that people like to take out of context. On paper he looks highly qualified, especially compared to the last guy.

      I saw the video earlier. He was responding to a question centering on people calling him a white supremacist. He wasn’t asking for a hood, but suggesting that the hood they give him should have slit holes in it. It isn’t really redeeming, but the headline is wrong.
