They do love finding a packet of crisps and robbing an ice-cream from any tourist silly enough to wander with one outside st Michael’s cave… They will even tip over bottles of soda and lick it up. Eating soil though is crazy considering they get fed plenty of fresh fruit and veg everyday
I stopped reading at tourist
Aw man, the vloggers are going to pick this one up and start Dirtmaxxing to cleanse their tummies, aren’t they?
For real, though, this is an interesting observation. I wonder why soil instead of other plant matter.
Probably a sign we shouldn’t be eating that crap either. Alright, off to Taco Bell.
good. that’s what they get for stealing.
This bring up a random question for me.
All these landfills around the world. Presumably they’re just going to sit there and possibly have something developed over them – golf courses / buildings / solar panels.
I assume no government is ever going to take the opportunity to dig them up and process the materials.
So, to that end… assuming the externalities of spending time/money/energy/and particularly fuels to move extra material around… isn’t it beneficial to have a bunch of random organic matter included in the garbage with the materials that we’re not able to process currently?
Instead of removing all compostable matter, won’t the presence of it help speed up the deterioration?
