1825 – Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmanien) wird von New South Wales getrennt. Die westliche Grenze von New South Wales wurde bis zum Längengrad 129° Ost erweitert
1836 – Die Provinz South Australia wurde als geplante Freisiedlerkolonie gegründet. Die Swan River Colony wurde 1829 gegründet und 1832 in Western Australia umbenannt.
1851 – Gründung von Victoria aus den südlichen Bezirken von New South Wales während der Goldrausch-Ära.
1859 – Gründung von Queensland aus den nördlichen Bezirken von New South Wales, wodurch seine Ausdehnung weiter verringert wird. Das heutige Northern Territory gehörte bis 1863 noch zu New South Wales und danach zu South Australia.
1911 – Übertragung des Northern Territory von Südaustralien an das Commonwealth. Die Westgrenze Südaustraliens wurde 1862 auf 129° E festgelegt.

Victoria was dudded. The border was originally planned to follow the Murrumbidgee which is closer to being equidistant from Sydney and Melbourne.
This should be maps without NZ as New Zealand was originally annexed to NSW
