Hasn’t it already kind of begun? I’ve seen some shops being converted into pop-up stores. That said, the town center gave me ghost-town vibes (except for the market square).
So do they pay rents with government money for private owned properties?

As a lover of shopping, I like the idea. But as someone who has driven to Echternach and got her car stuck on one of the narrow streets; unless they have easy parking, I wouldn’t go there
