Those Russian oil refineries are not very efficient; they burn fuel like crazy but have not moved at all.
Damn. That’s definitely more fires and more smoke than yesterday. So within hours we can expect to see more whining, crying Russian chicks putting out „me, me, me and my suffering“ videos. All is as it should be.

That refinery isn’t starting up again any time soon. Rekt.
Meanwhile, the Russian government & media: “Nothing to be concerned about. This is normal expected behavior. We’re cleaning out the equipment like a fireplace cleaning log”
Burning oil is fine, but a refinery only stops if the complex installations are damaged.
Is there any information of what the damage is?
I think what we have here can now be termed a cascade event.
