      Long story short – do not use google photos. Actually just do not use google in general.

      We live in a hellscape of implicit consent, and laws only exist to protect the corporations and government now.

      I don’t back up my photos on my phone to Google drive, I back them up to my local NAS instead. Does this mean they don’t have access to my pics?

      google fear mongering while you all use all meta products including insta, whatsapp and threads. one of the most unethical companies.

      This article reads weird. Are they suggesting Google is doing this now or this is an opt-in feature. My understanding is all of this is opt in?
