      It will always irritate me that the „Cradle of Liberty“ has a duty to retreat….also….DC is not a state…

      Duty to Retreat does not supersede Castle Doctrine in Minnesota. I can’t speak for other states but it’s an important clarification.

      This doesn’t seem correct…

      For example, California literally has precedent for a „Stand Your Ground“ defendant being successfully prosecuted after killing an armed burglar *in their home* … based on the fact they didn’t properly retreat. (at least I believe that was the jist)
