I guess scammers were pressured to sell GPUs on Newegg marketplace at higher prices

It’s like businesses that are too large, are a bad thing. If only someone had thought of, and enforced laws when it comes to this. 🤔

    3. You just can’t become that big without being shitty. How about if everyone isn’t shitty, and there are more opportunities for lots of business to become pretty big, but not own the world big. A boy can dream.

    5. I understand this is standard under their „price parity“ requirement in their pricing policy.

A vendor can not sell an item for less in another marketplace, including physical, than what it charges on Amazon. Amazon „must“ have the lowest price you can sell it at. And if a vendor can’t sell it for cheaper on Amazon then it has to raise its price in all other marketplaces to still be allowed to sell on Amazon.

So, whenever we buy something in person that we know is sold on Amazon. We are likely paying the Amazon tax in person just because that good is also sold on Amazon and has to have the same price.

The practice is clearly monopolistic and bad faith for consumers. It should have been banned long ago.

    6. How the heck do you think Bezos got so wealthy? Market manipulation streamlined with employee and customer exploitation.

Good thing DOGE eliminated all oversight or something might be done about it!

    7. Brands with their own sites charge more than Amazon. Then a lot now have prime only pricing.

I have been suspicious of this for years. So glad it’s finally coming out into the open.
