Der von Richterin Mindy S. Glazer verwendete rechtliche Maßstab ist ebenso erschreckend. Das Gericht entschied im Wesentlichen, dass es keine Rolle spielt, ob der Sprecher es als Witz gemeint hat; es ist nur wichtig, wenn ein "objektive Person" könnte es als Bedrohung empfinden.
Dabei handelt es sich um eine gewaltige Lücke, die darauf abzielt, den Ersten Verfassungszusatz zu umgehen und die Umsetzung zu erleichtern "Vor dem Verbrechen" Überwachung amerikanischer Bürger. Es sendet eine klare Botschaft an jeden Studenten in diesem Land: Ihre privaten Gespräche werden überwacht, und wenn Sie die zionistische Agenda kritisieren oder auch nur scherzhaft darauf verweisen, wird der Staat Ihr Leben ruinieren, um die Optik seiner Herren zu schützen.
Wir müssen uns fragen, wer wirklich das Sagen hat, wenn die amerikanische Polizei als Durchsetzungsorgan für den Ruf eines ausländischen Führers fungiert. Wir schicken Milliarden von Dollar hinein "Hilfe" jedes Jahr nach Israel, und jetzt scheint es, als würden wir ihre Standards der Sprachunterdrückung auf unseren eigenen Boden exportieren.
Hier geht es nicht um die Sicherheit des Campus. Es geht um die totale Vereinnahmung US-amerikanischer Institutionen. Wenn ein ausländisches Staatsoberhaupt ein wird "heilige Kuh" worüber man nicht einmal Witze machen kann, ohne sich einer Straftat zu stellen, lebt man nicht mehr in einer souveränen, freien Republik.

What was wrong was asking for explosive detonations on campus, but the student can point out that wasn’t what they asked for and then sue for unlawful imprisonment / kidnapping.

I think it had to do more with the threat of bombs in a school. They have really been cracking down on people making those kinds of accusations

Read the actual sources. She made pretty unfunny jokes about bomb threats at a convention center/dropping bombs on people. Netanyahu was used as a wrapper around those jokes. I have talked shit about the Israeli Prime Minister all the time as have many other here on Reddit, many Americans, even American Jews and Israelis and have not gotten into any trouble
