    Why didn’t you use regular GDP per capita? Would that not be a better representation since nominal GDP per capita does not account for PPP?

    Huh didn’t realize west Ukraine was so poor. I was under the impression that it was more wealthy than the East.

  7. Isn’t it a bit misleading to subdivide into regions? Often wealth of a country is concentrated in the capital or larger cities but still accessible to the general population?

  8. now if that part had stayed with its rightfull owner czechoslovakia, it would only be a bit less poor.

    I’ll say anything to justify the elongation of czechoslovakia.
