I mean… I couldn’t give less of a shit. If they executed their tasks, whatever they were, while drawing slightly dick-ish flight tracks I just see it as multitasking. Spending time and resources and not executing your tasks would be a completely different thing.

Their training officers should have been reprimanded for their lack of proper training.
Drawing thingies is an established tradition and good for morale. When I ambushed my troops making rock art, I commented „That one is lopsided.“ and walked off. I hope those rocks are still arranged in an amusing shape.
