      They really need to ban those posts or make them only like one day of the month for the newcomers to have fun but those mercator posts are sooooo annoying

      Australia isn’t real.

      We told criminals they were going there the same way you say to kids that the dog has gone to live on a farm.

      We really half arsed the name too. I mean, there was already a place called Austria.

      And The Ashes? That’s just filmed in a hangar at a disused aerodrome in Northamptonshire.

      The farther north you move your property, the larger it gets. Real Estate agents hate this one trick.

      Anyone whose looked at a globe knew this… Do people not experience ones anymore?

      The thing about Australia is, it’s almost nearly all mostly uninhabited desert.

      Woes of the mercator! A lot of people don’t realise this but if you laid Australia on top of Asia, a lot of people would die because being under Australia is not conducive to life. It’s the critters you see.

      What website are they using to get true size changes around the globe 🌎?

      Bet it’s annoying to live in a country that changes size all the time. How do you even plan the time needed for travelling coast to coast?

      I was planning on roadtripping around Australia this year. Size of the country plus current gas prices might be too costly.

      A: „Well depends on where it is on the map.“

      It’s not at all confusing to have things which can be easily measured change size as you move it around a map. *Sigh*
