      I mean they said they would use the money from tolls to pay for war damages and tbh we’d be lucky if they stopped there. They could easily just control it forever and it would all be thanks to Trump

      this is their trump card. all this talk about them having nuclear weapons and only thing they really needed was all or even some control over this canal and they have anyone against them by the balls now.

      This is an empty threat. The Islamic Republic will collapse soon due to bankruptcy. Trump’s blockade is going to cause a massive financial crisis for the regime because it has lost most of its income. It will not be able to pay the mass murderers, torturers, rapists and child abusers it employs to oppress the people of Iran. Once those thugs and criminals defect, the Iranian people will resume their revolution and remove the regime from power.

      They’re not even trying to hide it anymore that this entire fucking thing was just so they can get control of the Strait from the beginning.

      Killing innocent school children, blocking up bridges and power plants under the guise of „FREEING IRAN FROM THEIR EVIL GOVERNMENT“.

      I mean no country should be enforcing a tax on an international shipping pathway, but if America kicks over a bee hive and then doesn’t clean it up, there’s just a bunch of angry bees now.

      Hmmm.. zero cargo ships going out and zero coming in by way of our Navy’s blockade. Forget about the crucial revenue loss to Iran.. how about critical supplies. They are backed into a corner and need to adopt a sense of humility 🇺🇸🇺🇸

      Genuinely interested what the Gulf states will do if the U.S. just leaves with a deal that keeps the toll in place. Some face saving deal like mentioned earlier where the toll goes to repairing war damages. Which we all know is just code for it being permanent.
