the thing is,  Black Mirror didn’t exactly predict these things.  They simply researched what was already in its early stages and suggested what it may look like in a few more years.

    2. For one, „Chinese social credit“ is propaganda hogwash pushed by the US government and corporate media.

    3. Why does it look like right side is out of sync with the left but then you look close and they are lined up lol

credit score system is worst then social credit system. credit score you need a good score to rent a place to live. Right now companies are using your credit score to judge how much they will pay you. They seeing if you have debt or low credit score means you need the job more then a person who have over 800. So they pay you least.

a private company flock place thousands of cameras around the usa that tracking you. that is easily hackable. They connecting your car plate to you and tracking your car to follow you.

Even the X files is still relevant. Anything based off the craziness of current times seems to hold

I prefer a nice concise list like this.

I personally like the one where they’re uploaded to a computer then trapped forget in an online waiting room, like purgatory or limbo.

      That one freaked me out.

FYI, it’s not just China, but the US. Criticize the government and you get put into a little play (like some ICE cuck told some people on camera)

    8. To me, Shut Up and Dance IRL is actually all those pedo dudes that are currently in power or so wealthy that they are being extorted/ blackmailed by foreign governments to do their bidding.

Life imitates art imitates life. Although Black Mirror is noted as reflecting already existing issues and Brooker just gave it the cyberpunk spin to detatch it from reality just enough that it seemed implausible and ’sci-fi‘ rather than sci-fact at the time of release. It’s not predicting anything at all.
