      my problem with all of this happening, is that one man(trump) has decided that we will be in this conflict. no aumf nothing,no congress etc.

      1 man can decide this. Sets very bad precedent.

      I hate iran, they are bad. but what is worse is letting the president act like a king.

      Looks like the US is serious with the blockade against Iran-linked vessels. Next week will get interesting.

      If the US escalates, so will Iran.

      In a war of escalation, the US will fold first, because there’s no appetite for the consequences a greater war will entail at home.
      Iran already fights for its existential survival, and a bid toward a more prosperous future. There is a prize to be won for being resilient, and a heavy price to be paid for caving to US pressure. So Iran will dare the US every step up the escalatory ladder, and they will keep pace.

      Well look at that, this loose cannon is finally doing some real damamge in a major conflict he started all because he has absolutely no control whatsoever and thinks he can spew whatever he wants on social media and other countries will take it. Absolutely disgusting. What would you do if another President threatened to blow up your country twice?????

      I dont understand why people are surprised, a blockade was in effect as a response to iran itself imposing one, the ship was warned, and then stopped in the safest way possible for the Iranian crew. If it was like what Iran did yesterday, firing at a ship they gave permission to pass with no warning, then sure, but this isnt the case

      Well it’s a war, I guess two can play this „blockade“ game.

      What I don’t get how all of this is such clusterfuck. Like are we committing or not? Wouldn’t it be easier to just unblock the strait by attacking the military targets that enforce the blockade?

      Or what’s the end goal here? Leaving the murderous regime in power, and have the strait blocked by both the opposing sides?

      Trump probably doesn’t know what even is happening, but one would say there are generals that do.

      Funny how Ttump got himself into a corner and now both TACOing and also going forward with his plans (blockade) get him catch shit lol.
