Why are you even using AI at all for anything?
Be careful with simple and vague science questions asked to AI. If you don’t have a good prompt or haven’t personalized an AI with indications like „provide trustable sources“
It seems that the clanker can’t differentiate between sources when asked vague questions, you can test this and ask it about science that gets hated on by lunatics like evolutionary biology and you will see how it gives you pseudoscientific responses by giving you misinformation that gets thrown around
For solar and lunar data, guess they are good at that

Why use AI? It’s garbage that commonly gives false information.
OP and the commenters present what genuinely might be the least critical thinking coupled with the most bandwagoning I’ve ever seen. OP asked Google for an astronomy app, Google (or Google AI) recommended a highly rated app that has 5 stars on iOS and Android, and followed it up with Apple Watch -specific apps, which by any standard is a decent.
Yet in true reddit fashion, the monkey brains and their two shared neurons saw an opportunity for „AI bad“ and jumped on it like a 10 year old at a trampoline park. Truly the most enthusiastic scientific minds on display here
Your interpretation of this response is the actual problem. You didn’t even bother to check and just made flawed assumptions, which is the actual problem with people these days. You just make assumptions based on your preconceptions and even came up with a whole fictitious theory rather than actually checking whether your assumptions were correct (they weren’t). You and the mindless upvotes on this post are exactly what’s wrong social media.
