People in the comments are confused by the wording of the meme. Lincoln didn’t try to kill the federal reserve as that would be impossible.
He tried to kill the system by which it operates and has always operated under even before the federal reserve was a thing it still existed just under another name and it had to keep being renewed. The fed you know today is permanent and needs no renewal.
Others have added thoughts on Lincoln, but there’s 2 presidents here and JFK didn’t try to, plan to, or make any move to abolish the Fed either. Not one. Not ever.

He first planned to kidnap Lincoln and trade him for Conferderate prisoners, but that didn’t work out, so the plan changed to assassinate Lincoln, Andrew Johnson and the Secretary of State in hopes that it would somehow reverse the results of the Civil War.
