I did a report on Idaho in 2nd grade. I’ve never been but I ‚very re-used it several times with updates. This state was always problematic but it has just gotten worse over time. Especially as the farm money has come in. When the groundwater is exhausted & the agriculture fails it will be…something.

If I was a business in Idaho, I would put in gender neutral bathrooms. Either, **everyone or no one** could use them because their birth certificate doesn’t match the gender of the bathroom.
Why are people so evil?
I wonder if these states are thinking of the consequences of losing residents? Tax dollars will go down, corporations will likely buy these houses, job creation loss, work force losses… etc. The states who remain open and welcoming will see a boom as a result
I won’t ever vacation there again or spend any money related to any endeavor involving Idaho or its citizens. I will not support a state that treats people, any person…. Like this.

It truly doesn’t seem like real life that we could be in 2026, in one of the richest countries on Earth, and still have so much backward knuckle-dragging halfwits making life miserable for everyone around them.
The lawsuits against this cruelty will hopefully help the single most at-risk minority recover and survive, in time.
Horrific this family felt they had to do this, *even worse* this is still comparably a sweet story because this young woman’s family support her enough to move to protect her… very r/OrphanCrushingMachine if you ask me.
How do they even expect to enforce something like that? Are they going to ask every single person walking into a public restroom to show their genitals?
