  1. Interesting how they can all use our eGates but when we go to most of these places, massive queues for human border control as well as multiple minutes of interrogation is what we get.

  2. Oh and I double checked this and it isn’t a mistake on the map, Monegasques and Andorrans are not eligible for the eGates!

  3. England (after it was kicked out of Europe) likes to pretend to be ally of Turkey by signing military deals, & customs union.

but rejects visa-free travel for Turkey.

    racism, I guess.

  4. I was so impressed to see that in Singapore ALL nationalities can use the e-gates at passport control.

Meanwhile in the UK most nationalities have to go through an expensive and protracted process to apply for a tourist visa, and then despite having told the government every detail about their families, finances, assets, travel history, etc, still have to queue up for another round of questioning on arrival.

  5. Born anglo South African, country hates me, tells me I’m evil, go to uk, told I’m evil by the left and told to go home by the right, nice…

  6. Wonder if the eGates snap shut on all the dual citizen folk still grappling with the recent chage of law?

I know of two people who have been waiting over a month to get their travel approved. I think the UK authorities have been overwhelmed with people who had exitsing travel plans in place, but only found out recently.

  7. PurpleDemonR on

Imagine the state of this country of only these nationalities were eligible to migrate.

  8. Irish don’t need to use them and don’t for a lot of flights.

Flights between the UK and Ireland are essentially domestic flights due to the CTA free travel area.

I’ve never gone through passport checks of any kind flying between the UK and Ireland beyond showing my driving licence to board the plane.
