imagine how insanely angry republican voters would be about the republican party if they didn’t have double standards.
For the record, they weren’t forced. They didn’t try to fight it. They did not file a lawsuit to stop it. They complied in advance.
This was a case brought by the Facebook group and app developers in question, not the platforms.
And to think the Nazis bitched and moaned about the Biden administration simply asking social media companies to correct pro-COVID spreading bullshit.
Title is bad. I thought they forced them to remove GPS trackers from the POTUS’s and some of his admin’s phones. My first thought was that it seemed like a reasonable request.
But the full title on the site is:

„remove trackers“ makes it sound like they were removing code to track users or something.
