Wenn ein Rubbelspiel mit noch nicht beanspruchten Hauptpreisen endet, geht das Geld an den Staat zurück und nicht an die Spieler. Man geht davon aus, dass eine staatliche Lotterie ein Spiel erst dann beendet, wenn alle Hauptgewinne eingelöst wurden, aber das ist nicht der Fall.
Ich werde täglich 40 Bundesstaaten verfolgen, um zu sehen, wie sich dies im Laufe der Zeit je nach Bundesstaat ändert.

Cuz I’ve scratched off a ticket and then claimed the price weeks later
If I’m understanding right – the games are being ended without all prizes being awarded. Some things to consider:
* State lotteries are used to fund education (no, really) so the money is probably going back to that pool
* If there are still tickets left to sell, that means they aren’t selling for whatever reason. So the state isn’t going to keep games that people aren’t buying out there since this is supposed to be making money for the school system.
* If there are still tickets left to sell, not all of the money that was supposed to be raised to fund the prizes was raised, either, so it’s probably not all of that money going back to the state.
