      The right amount is zero. After all, he is in charge of the organization responsible for the problem.

      Yeah, and he’ll probably settle out of court for an undisclosed amount. I heard about the concept of that type of settling out of court in a similar, but less obviously corrupt context from a Mike Rafe video, and he basically said that it can’t really be legal, as in it’s probably in a dark grey-ish legal area, but that problem is overcome by Trump’s lawyer (whichever it is by this point) just saying here „It’s part of Trump’s official duties as President, so by Supreme Court ruling he can’t be prosecuted for it,“ and that’ll slow down any lawsuits against Trump for this. And if the lawsuit gets to the Supreme Court, they’ll just rule in Trump’s favor, because they almost always do that with the conservative supermajority.

      He did say he would release his tax forms but IRS wouldn’t let him because of an audit. So he gave his blessing did he not?

      So when the IRS “leaked” all the taxpayer data of noncitizens to DHS/ICE this last year, does this set precedent for each one of them to get billions of dollars in restitution as well?

      Americans taxes have been wasted and misappropriated. Does each taxpayer send him an itemized list for services poorly rendered, if at all?

      I can tell you with 100pct certainty that it doesn’t matter what any of you all think or feel

      His supporters and Congress have shown that they will let him do anything. Logic, law, morals, raping women, don’t matter anymore.

      Red state Republicans will vote to approve the settlement if it comes to that

      Democrats will beg us to move on in order to heal the nation

      Ultimately, the sad fact is that the American Dream is dead, the US is no longer the land of opportunity, and that city on a hill is morally bankrupt

      It’s going to be fascinating if adults ever regain control of the country and start doing some forensic accounting.
