Why are Metro writing headlines like they pay by the letter?

apparently the painted bride was accused of attempting to trip up the artist while she walked the isle at her own wedding.

I swear every day on reddit I see a story about women being horrible to each other at a wedding.

Ken Monk sounds like a comedy TV detective who doesn’t play by the rules.
Apart from some damage to the registry office and the dress I’m not sure what she was found guilty of that warranted a 10 month prison sentence, suspended or not.

‘To have paint thrown over me by my brother’s wife changed my outlook on life,’ she told the court. ‘I have lost who I used to be.’
Maybe it’s just me but this sounds overly dramatic.

10 months prison.
I just saw a woman kill a baby get 6 months
And a dangerous driver cause the broken back of another man get 0 prison time.
The justice system is a joke and needs to be overhauled.

Does anyone know the paint thrower’s side of the story? I am not condoning the act of revenge by any means. It was wrong no matter what the bride did. But something doesn’t seem right. She couldn’t have been angry enough to do this just because she believed the bride attempted to trip her at her own wedding. How does that even happen? And it’s also strange for her to not have been invited over it. I think something more happened between them before we got here.

Difficult to ascertain which Bridezilla is in the wrong.

I mean it’s awful ofc but the words „sister in law“ at least implies she either waited until after they got married *or* the husband didn’t care and wanted to marry her anyways
