      Trump has told “useless” NATO to stay away from the Strait of Hormuz after the UK and France announced they would work to protect shipping.

      Kier Starmer and Emmanuel Macron vowed to lead a “multinational mission” aimed at passing through the Strait of Hormuz during the ceasefire.

      “This will be strictly defensive, as a mission to reassure commercial shipping and support mine clearance,” the prime minister told a gathering of world leaders in Paris on Friday.

      But Trump hit back in another explosive rant: “I received a call from NATO asking if we would need some help. I TOLD THEM TO STAY AWAY! They were useless when needed, a Paper Tiger!” Trump posted.

      Europe knows what it’s like to have its civilians killed and bombed in their homes in a war, and their countries invaded. The US doesn’t. That’s why Europe favours diplomacy. The US May only understand once their cities get carpet bombed in the night.

      Conversations for idiots.

      1. Let’s be clear: the initiative for protective and defensive actions comes from the United Kingdom and France (I don’t know in which order), OUTSIDE the scope of NATO. This initiative comes from these countries, which have the best strategic positioning and military power of all European countries, and are the most „desperate,“ energy-wise, to restore normal supply, especially the United Kingdom.

      2. NATO has not contacted the US government to say they will cooperate to secure the area, or anything of the sort.

      3. The US president mentions NATO without having the slightest clue what NATO thinks of his recent actions. He simply vents his frustration on Europe, NATO, or whoever happens to be in his path, to blame them for his colossal failure in this conflict that should never have happened.

      The Americans can’t blockade the strait if UK and French ships are passing through and escorting traffic.
      Trump is a complete loony but I don’t think anyone on board a US ship is prepared to shoot their own allies.
